This past weekend, I shared the love with my family, as we shared a meal (my family thinks that having a meal cooked for them any time of the year is sharing the love).
For the salad course, I turned my leaf-shaped bowls in a direction that I thought suggested a heart. I used a Dollar store red charger under my white metal chargers. Dinner plates are Fitz and Floyd Country Plaid.
A heart-shaped dessert plate served as a coaster.
Napkin rings were keys to the heart.
I put the roll in a Valentine cupcake holder under a cloche. Soft butter filled the little red pot.
Salt and pepper shakers at each end of the table:
Napkins, edged with hearts became bows on the topiaries. They were also used to conceal the pots. (Christmas wreath topiaries are marked down now!)
The only photo I took of the full centerpiece was before I had finished setting the table.
You will find links to incredible tablescapes at Tablescape Thursday, hosted by Susan at Between Naps on the Porch. I’m also linking to Seasonal Sundays at The Tablescaper.
I’m so glad you came for a visit. I hope you’ll come back soon. laurie
