HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDSON!

This past weekend, we celebrated our 7 year old grandson’s birthday. He loves color, so we had a VERY colorful tablescape.

Have y’all seen these plastic bags/vases?

This is how it looks before you fill it with water. After use, I just dump the water, let it dry a bit, and store it flat until I want to use it again. Who thinks up these things, and why can’t I think up something that is going to make money?

I ordered this birthday style and another style from a sale flyer from One Kings Lane.

Each gift he opened was his favorite – for the five seconds it took to rip open the next package!

THE LAZY HOSTESS SEES DOTS

 

When I sit down to eat, I don’t want to have to get back up, so my polka dot table allows me to eat my dinner without interruption (I just put it all on the table in the beginning!).

You can’t get much more faux than a polka dot flower!

No, that is not trash in the basket.  It’s dessert.
