Those of you who have followed my blog posts for long enough know that after Christmas, I remove all of the Christmas ornaments from our two Christmas trees (which are about to shrivel up and turn brown by now. Uh oh, was I supposed to water those things?)
As you can see, I replace them with New Year’s hats, beads, leis, and streamers.
I’ve always said that I love to decorate for New Year’s, because I think New Year’s décor can be wild and crazy, and that’s kind of the way my decor rolls on a regular basis.
Monday, I’ll be posting the trees with the New Year’s mantel, so be sure to check in. You don’t want to miss the wild and crazy mantel!
Have you seen the button on my sidebar about snowflakes for students returning to Sandy Hook School? My grandchildren and I will be making some. They need to be sent in time for the students return to school on the 12th of January. If you’d like to participate, please visit Maryann at Domestically Speaking for the information.
I am linking to The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays.
Some of you have asked about our grandson. Our little Cooper is still struggling, so your continued prayers for him are so appreciated. laurie
