I am joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday. Even though I have a mosaic in all of my posts, it sure is fun to have an excuse to do a mosaic! Thank you Mary.
I still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up! Hey! Cut me a little slack here. I'm not 60 yet. I've got plenty of time to grow up and decide what I want to be!
As I celebrate Labor Day, knowing that there are many people in our country who are without jobs, I pray that when my grandchildren become adults, they will still have the opportunity to follow their dreams and become who and what they want to become. I'm so glad to have a day off work, and yet I know there are those who would gladly work today and every day, but are unable to find jobs. Today, as I celebrate Labor Day, I am saying a special prayer for those who are without a job; for those who are worried about keeping their homes; and for those who cannot buy groceries for their families. I'm also saying a special prayer for God's guidance for those who are attempting to lead our country through these unsure times.
Please go to Mary's beautiful blog, Little Red House , for a list of bloggers who are posting mosaics today.
(I know it's not Fall yet, but I somehow felt that leaving my summer floral header up was sort of like wearing white shoes after Labor Day, and as a "raised-in-the-South-female", I could "nevah" wear white shoes after Labor Day!)
Thanks for coming by today. Have a wonderful holiday! laurie
